Half-day trips are scheduled almost every day at 9:00 am & 2:00 pm for $65/ person. On a half-day trip we might paddle from the harbor past the lighthouse and to the crystal-clear waters of Little Sand Bay. The first part of this trip will be spent learning and practicing basic paddling skills and techniques. Sunset cruises are also available upon request. Price includes all equipment, instruction, guide and a snack. Kids are $55 in any group of 3 or more. No experience is necessary.

Full-day trip destinations include outer islands & longer sections of the Beaver Island shoreline. Tours begin at 9:00 am, end about 4:30 PM & cost $100/person. Depending on skill level, we may spend the first part of the day learning & practicing paddling skills and techniques. Price includes kayak, all equipment, instruction, guide and a great lunch. If crossing to another island, a rescues class is required. A rescues class is not required if paddling the Beaver shoreline.

Overnight & extended trips to the outer islands are popular. Explore these pristine islands as we practice paddling skills and techniques. We'll explore the wildlife and shorelines with the unique view and peacefulness offered only by kayak. And depending on the trip and group, we can do some hiking on the outer islands. Enjoy delicious food and the camaraderie of fellow kayakers. Price is $120/person/day & includes deliciously prepared meals, kayak, all equipment, tents, and cooking gear. Harbor Snorkeling Trips Explore the historic 1930s cars. Were these sunk for fish habitat with early ecological foresight? Or were the Islanders in the Shamrock looking for an excuse to place bets on whose car would go through first? Can be combined with the Half Day Trip on a calm day. Price $65. Betsy Smith South End Snorkeling Trips are scheduled in the afternoon upon request. We'll shuttle to the south end of Beaver Island & then paddle to the Betsy Smith where we'll snorkel over this exciting 1800s wooden schooner. We will then continue on to beautiful secluded beach at French Bay. This trip is Weather and Wind Dependent: Pre-req: Basic Paddling Strokes (Half Day Trip) Price is $80.

Other snorkeling trips are available but require an overnight stay due to distance.

All trips are guided by Ken Bruland, an experienced sea kayak guide and instructor with ACA, BCU, CPR, Wilderness EMT, Water Rescue, and EMT Paramedic Certifications.
