General Info

What We Provide

We provide a kayak, PFD (personal floatation device or life jacket), paddle, spray skirt, emergency communication and First Aid equipment, dry bags, wet suits if needed, and a certified guide.

For our snorkeling trips, we provide masks and snorkels but you may bring your own if you would like.

We also provide snacks and something to drink on half-day trips. On full-day trips we provide a nice lunch and drinks.

What You Provide

You should come prepared to get wet. This usually means a swim suit. Water shoes are nice to have as sandals often get in the way and tennies are generally too clumsy. Bare feet are O.K. but water shoes make life more comfortable. You should also bring a water bottle, sunscreen, lipscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a set of dry clothes to change into when done. If the water is cold we have wet suits. We recommend that you bring a lightweight rain jacket if it is raining. Get more details by clicking on Recommended Clothing.

Trip / Class Size

All classes and trips have a one-to-six ratio of guide to students. Most classes are limited to 6 people total although sometimes we have larger numbers (up to 12). If we have more than 6, there will be an extra guide. Some of our classes/trips have as few as 3 people.
